Last Week Tonight with John Oliver had the same frightening realization the rest of us had over the last week: Donald Trump is nearly guaranteed to be the presidential nominee of one of America’s two major political parties.

However, in true John Oliver fashion, he did find a way.
In order to make the public really understand what they’re getting into if they’re serious about making Trump the next president, Oliver chose to change up the real-estate mogul’s image, which included referring to the “Apprentice” star by his ancestral family name, “Drumpf.
Oliver runs down all the reasons Trump may seem appealing.
Oliver then tackled Trump’s assertions that he is self-funding his campaign. “If only there was a way to uncouple that magical word from the man he is”, the host said.
Aside from that, the host also pointed out how Trump is wildly inconsistent with his statements, saying: “He’s been pro-choice and pro-life, for and against assault weapon bans, in favor of both bringing in Syrian refugees and deporting them out of the country”.
Perhaps the most insidious, at least in what you’d expect will be the opinion of The Donald, is a way to get the Trump name to appear as “Drumpf” in every instance it pops up on your computer screen.
The Boston Globe reported that the biography mentioned by Oliver is The Trumps: “Three Generations That Built An Empire”.
Oliver’s point-by-point take down of the Republican US Presidential candidate was to urge the people to be warned, “If you are thinking of voting for Donald Trump, the charismatic guy promising to make America great again, stop and take a moment to imagine how you would feel if you just met guy named Donald Drumpf”.

But aside from discrediting the characteristics his supporters see as his advantage, Oliver also revealed that Trump had not been very honest with how he presented himself to be.
