John Stamos admits trying to fire Olsen twins on ‘Full House’
John Stamos reveals that a scene from Lifetime’s upcoming Full House movie is accurate. The recently released first clip showcased a moment where faux John Stamos is bitching about the infant faux Olsen twins being unprofessional, and it turns out that was based on solid reality.

“It’s sort of true; the Olsen twins would cry a lot”, Stamos said at the Television Critics Association fall previews for his new comedy Grandfathered. “We’re doing 13 episodes for Netflix…I’m so excited to be bringing it back, doing it at Netflix”.
He did admit that he found “the humor” behind the whole thing – especially the off-Broadway show.
Stamos exec produces and stars as Jimmy, a version of himself on Grandfathered: a longtime bachelor whose life is upended after he learns he’s a father and grandfather.
The two cuties were nearly kicked off the show, but there just wasn’t better replacements. “I feel like I’m a baby whisperer now”. (Exec producer Dan Fogelman joked that Stamos’ approach to star power was the result of the fact that, deep down, he was a neurotic Jew).
JOHN Stamos has revealed that he tried to end the Olsen twins’ career before it even began.
‘It was very hard to get the shot, ‘ he added, saying that his reaction was ‘Get them out!’ when neither of the girls seemed ready for the spotlight.

“If the twins cry, I whisper, ‘I made a couple other twins a lot of money”. Thats the story. I choose to think that he went up to creator Jeff Franklin and the producers saying Have mercy on my sanity by getting rid of those crybabies. Its totally understandable that the actor was frustrated with having screaming children present while he was trying to develop his hair-spray-scented art, and I like that they actually tried to find someone else to take the part. The actress hopes to be able to juggle both the Fox and Comedy Central shows should Another Period earn a second season.
