John Stamos Joins Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens
A little over a month ago, following the cancelation of Grandfathered on FOX, John Stamos pretty much implied network TV was dead (in a tweet that has since been deleted). It is is executive-produced by Murphy, Falchuk, Brennan and Alexis Martin Woodall (American Horror Story: Hotel).

Scream Queens’ launches Season 2 on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 9/8c.
Stamos joins the Ryan Murphy lead horror-comedy after his own series on FOX called Grandfathered wasn’t renewed after season one debuted previous year. According to the report, Stamos is set to play Dr. Brock Holt, the head surgeon of the hospital which will serve as the backdrop to the series’ second season.

The 52-year-old actor will join returning cast members Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Billie Lourd, Glen Powell and Niecy Nash, who will all reprise their season one characters. In Season 2, Scream Queens moves to a hospital, where some of the world’s most freaky and fascinating medical cases are under watch. In fact, across platforms, the ratings for Scream Queens rose 167% compared to the standard Live + Same Day ratings. He is also an executive producer and reprising his role as Uncle Jessie in the Netflix sequel to popular sitcom Full House, Fuller House. As a producer, Stamos is in development with Twentieth Century Fox and Academy Award-winning producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, on a musical feature set to the songs of the Beach Boys.
