John Terry delighted by new deal for José Mourinho

Earlier this summer, Chelsea invited supporters to look at an exhibition of plans for a new build and, though an upgrade would necessitate them playing at a different ground for up to three seasons, Mourinho says that it is an important decision for them to take.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists that his team “don’t have fragilities”, and don’t need any other players ahead of the new Premier League season.

“I was delighted to have him back and now I am delighted he will stay for a few more years”, said Terry.

“We had a great group of players with a manager who was always behind us and kept pushing us“. You don’t turn into a poor player overnight.

Crespo says Falcao did not suit Louis van Gaal’s style of play last campaign, but remains hopeful the South American will get a chance to shine under former Real Madrid manager Mourinho at Stamford Bridge. “I just wanted to play in Europe”.

A serious knee injury has halted his goal scoring touch and Jose Mourinho will hope to get him back to the player he was at Porto and Atletico.

“Mourinho has a big ego as well but in a good way”.

“He certainly gives you confidence when you do the specific work on the training pitch, the tactics room and in the dressing room before matches”. So he prepares us with every situation and making sure we’re ready, ” said Terry.

He did manage to lift two Premier League titles and four FA Cups during his time in London and was part of the squad that won the Champions League in 2012. “For me last season has finished, it’s all gone – the records and the trophies”, he said.
