John Terry Describes Mourinho Sacking As “Sad Sad Day”
“I was surprised and disappointed when I heard about Jose Mourinho”. With him we have achieved very important titles and memories for the fans that will remain in the history of Chelsea forever.

“I want to wish him all the best for the future”.
Mourinho guided the west London outfit to double glory last season after Chelsea beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the League Cup final before the Blues finished eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
“I want as much information as possible”.
“Whether or not I’m visiting their next match depends on my first conversation”.
“I think it is a loss to the league that he is no longer part of it at this present moment”.
Well-travelled Dutch veteran Hiddink is viewed as the ideal antidote to the dressing-room discontent that has coincided with Chelsea’s decline from defending champions into relegation battlers.
Christmas time at Stamford Bridge has been decidedly less cheery than previous year as halfway into a season as EPL title holders, Chelsea made an inevitable decision to sack manager Jose Mourinho on Thursday.
“Thank You doesn’t seem enough”, Terry wrote alongside a picture of the pair embracing on the pitch after a game.
“Everyone was sad, Mourinho was the best manager the club has ever had”, the left-back told Sky Sports. “Sad sad day. Gonna miss you Boss”. It’s a position the Dutchman has filled in before, when he took over in 2009 after Brazilian coach Luiz Felipe Scolari was sent packing.
Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini says the Premier League was better with Jose Mourinho involved.
Chelsea have appointed Guus Hiddink as their new manager until the end of the season.
Mourinho was thought to have attended Chelsea’s Christmas lunch with the playing squad before his departure was confirmed in a meeting with chairman Bruce Buck and director Eugene Tenenbaum.
“It’s very easy to make that inference but it is not one the club accepts”.
“Anyone who loves the club, who has any kind of affiliation to the club, can understand that this club is in trouble, and something needed to be done”.
Chelsea parted company with Mourinho by “mutual consent” on Thursday.

Terry wasn’t alone in his appreciation for Mourinho’s work at the club – Cesc Fabregas and Cesar Azpilicueta both posted on twitter to thank their former boss.
