‘John Wick 2′ Gets New Title, Setting; 2017 Release Date Confirmed

You don’t have to call the JOHN WICK sequel JOHN WICK 2 anymore.
Loads of new details have now been revealed about John Wick 2, and for starters, it’s been confirmed that the title will be John Wick: Chapter Two. The film will take place at least partly in Rome. According to them, John Wick will be off to the Italian capital to do to the Italians what he did to the Russian mob in the last movie. The movie also has a new release date; on February 10th, 2017, it’s going to go up against Fifty Shades Darker, The LEGO Batman Movie, and The Mountains Between Us (that should be an interesting weekend).
John Wick: Chapter Two is being directed by Chad Stahelski, who co-directed the original, and produced by Basil Iwanyk.
Of course Reeves returns to play the titular hitman but returning cast members Ian McShane, John Leguizamo, Lance Reddick, Tom Sadowski, Bridget Moynahan, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Riccardo Scamarcio, Peter Stormare and Common.

If the first chapter was any indication, what with the stylish set pieces and rat-a-tat action, then John Wick: Chapter Two has all the makings to be a bona fide hit when it makes a beeline for theaters.
