The tumultuous battle between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has come to an end, with both parties releasing a joint statement after finalizing their terms.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have finally settled their much-publicised divorce, saying neither of them meant to cause the other any physical or emotional harm.

“There will be no further public statements about this matter”.

The settlement ending the 15-month marriage comes after weeks of highly publicized claims of domestic violence by Heard, 30, and counterclaims of financial blackmailing by Depp, 53. Depp vehemently denied the accusations, with his legal team in turn accusing Heard of lying in order to secure a higher financial payout from split. According to TMZ, she dismissed the case “with prejudice”, which means that it can not be refiled someday.

Heard filed papers to withdraw her claims of abuse, dropping an application to extend a restraining order against the Oscar-nominated actor, Los Angeles Superior Court said in a statement.

In the settlement, it was agreed that Johnny will pay Amber seven million dollars – much less than the initial rumours that she could potentially get half of his $400 million fortune! A judge in May granted the order of protection, but rejected Heard’s request that Depp attend a year’s worth of anger management classes.

Sources told The Post on Monday that the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor accidentally chopped off the tip of his middle finger during a jealous argument with Heard about a month after they married in February 2015.

As Heard headed to a Los Angeles court, where she was pressing her divorce case, a video was obtained by TMZ showing an apparently inebriated Depp smashing cupboards and drinking glasses in a threatening manner.
