“There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm”, reads the statement, obtained by TMZ and the Daily Mail.

Johnny Depp’s friends and family made many accusations against Amber in the last few months, with some saying that numerous things she claimed happen didn’t happen.

The statement says Heard will be donating proceeds from the divorce settlement to an undisclosed charity.

According to a source quoted by Entertainment Tonight, Johnny Depp was the one who pushed for a quick settlement because of the photo that was leaked yesterday of his finger which he severed while raging at Amber Heard about an alleged affair with Billy Bob Thorton.

Heard has accused Depp of assaulting her on multiple occasions, citing in her sworn declaration on April 27 a May 21 altercation in their downtown L.A. home, when Depp allegedly threw a cellphone at her, hitting her cheek and eye. It’s a story that had many doubting Amber Heard’s charges in the beginning, and it became crazier as time went on.

Johnny and Amber split in May and the actress was granted a restraining order after accusing him of domestic abuse.

Depp, through his lawyers, claimed Heard was ginning up bad press to increase her payout for the “short marriage”.

Depp, one of Hollywood’s top actors and box-office draws with franchises such as “Pirates of the Caribbean”, married Heard, known for “Friday Night Lights”, in February 2015 after meeting on the set of the 2011 film “The Rum Diary“.

The restraining order was issued on the day that Depp’s latest film, “Alice Through the Looking Glass”, opened in theaters.

The video also showed Depp saying, “I’ll show you insane”.

Since April, Heard has continued to release new details of alleged abuse by Depp, which she called part of a “cycle of substance abuse and violence”. Johnny then proceeded to the bathroom, where he wrote “Billy Bob” and “Easy Amber” on the mirror with his injured, paint-covered finger. The two had been married for about 15 months. Johnny’s legal team initially offered $8 million to settle the case, but that offer was refused.
