In 2015, Perry became one of the original members of Cooper’s super group Hollywood Vampires alongside actor Johnny Depp. He then sat down in front of the drum set, then walked off stage and soon collapsed.

Everybody’s heartbeat stopped for a minute when they heard the news of the Joe Perry collapse. “He is stable right now, with family and is under the best care”, his rep wrote Sunday on Perry’s official Twitter and Facebook pages. Fans at the concert watched Perry, 65, struggle to finish a song before managing to make it off stage.

Joe was originally taken to Coney Island Hospital, but was eventually transferred to Columbia Presbyterian, according to NBC News.

He lost consciousness and police helped resuscitate him, sources told the New York Post.

“Apparently the band is continuing to play”.

Hollywood Vampires are in the midst of a U.S. tour and were scheduled to appear tonight on CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”. “His brother Vampires and fans wish him a speedy recovery”.

His Hollywood Vampires bandmate, Alice Cooper, tweeted out thanks to fans for asking about Perry.

The band’s name refers to a ’70s drinking club Cooper was part of that also included John Lennon, The Who’s Keith Moon, Harry Nilsson, Bernie Taupin and Micky Dolenz of the Monkees.

“Confirmed – We WILL see you in OH tomorrow night and for the rest of our dates!”

The supergroup Hollywood Vampires was formed in 2015, with Perry joining Cooper and Depp in a tribute to 1970s rock “n” roll. It is unknown at this time whether the band will postpone any of their performances.
