And that, we can all agree, is a huge deal. Doesn’t look like she’s running out of L’Eau anytime soon. The new scent is an invigorating and younger take on the classic Chanel No. 5 – and this casting couldn’t be more in line with that direction. Her supermodel mom was also a Chanel ambassador and the face of Chanel’s Coco Chanel fragrance.
The campaign, overseen by Johan Renck, is set to launch in the Fall.
Lily-Rose is already gaining quite the profile in the fashion world and her father Johnny has previously shared how it worries him.

Commenting on the move, Chanel said Depp – whose rising star sees her with three new movies out this summer (Yoga Hosers, Planetarium and The Dancer) – was a natural choice. “But I am grateful for what (working with my parents) brings and it is honestly a small price to pay to get to do what I want to do – I am very happy about that”. “But it’s her passion and she’s having fun”, he told German magazine Gala.
