Johnny Depp Supergroup To Play In L.A. And Rio

According to Rolling Stone, “the name “Hollywood Vampires” references loose collective of rockers, including Cooper, John Lennon, Harry Nilsson and Keith Moon, who got together in the early Seventies to drink on the Sunset Strip at the Rainbow”. In addition to Johnny Depp and the touring version of Hollywood Vampires, the recording sessions also included work from Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Slash, Joe Walsh and AC/DC’s Brian Johnson.

Additionally, on September 24, the band will make their only worldwide appearance at Brazil’s Rock In Rio. Prior to that show, the band will be meeting with the Starkey Hearing Foundation to help fit 150 people in need with hearing aids and bring some of the fans to the show so they can hear music for the first time. As a member of Clinton Global Initiative, Starkey Hearing Foundation has pledged to provide more than one million hearing aids to people in need this decade and now gives more than 175,000 hearing aids annually.
