Manziel’s lawyer Bob Hinton told reporters that Manziel is not required to stay in Dallas County and will return to Los Angeles.
“He’s doing great”, Hinton said.
Manziel is scheduled to appear in court Thursday. Earlier, he playfully flipped her hair on the escalator.
Manziel, 23, on Wednesday surrendered to police, had a mugshot taken and posted bail.
Manziel became the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy, given to college football’s most outstanding player, in 2012.
When the arraignment ended, Manziel embraced his sister in the courtroom as he walked out. He didn’t answer questions and didn’t make a statement. The Heisman Trophy victor and former Texas A&M star was indicted by a grand jury last month after…
Shortly after Wednesday’s mug shot, Manziel tweeted then deleted a reference: “Just thankful I had a shirt this time”. When Johnny was 19, he took a mugshot shirtless when he was arrested for disorderly conduct and possession of a fake ID.
“He hit me with his open hand on my left ear for jumping out of the vehicle”, Crowley claimed in the affidavit. They broke up in December after dating for two years. She alleged that the altercation began at a hotel, before he forced her into a auto.

The court date was Manziel’s first since in connection with a misdemeanor charge coming from a domestic complaint by Crowley. Crowley has already received a protective order that says Manziel can not see her or be within 500 feet of her home or place of employment for two years.
