Johnny Manziel’s Agent Ends Ties with Quarterback
The hits keep coming for Johnny Manziel, as the 23-year-old free-agent quarterback has lost his biggest marketing deal.

The 2013 Heisman victor out of Texas A&M also faces legal issues stemming from a January incident involving his ex-girlfriend. As Adam Schefter notes below, that means two agents have dropped him in just the last two months.
If the grand jury decides that there is not enough evidence to pursue that charge, there will not be further criminal action taken against Manziel.
The five day deadline that superstar agent Drew Rosenhaus placed on former Cleveland Browns QB Johnny Manziel is officially up, leaving Manziel without an agent or a team going into the 2016 season. Further, according to Rovell, sports collectable company Panini America is still selling Manziel collectables, though at discount rates. But here’s a problem: That statement was released a year ago when Manziel ended a 10-week stint in rehab.
Though I will remain a friend and Johnny supporter, and he knows I have worked tirelessly to arrange a number of professional options for him to continue to pursue, it has become painfully obvious that his future rests exclusively in his own hands.
The edict came after Manziel spent time partying in the Los Angeles area.
Michaels added that Manziel, who’s been on a party bender of late, is more than what’s portrayed on social media. The NFL is also investigating and could suspend him under its personal conduct policy.
Manziel was cut by the Browns in March after two seasons. “I truly believe if they can’t get him help, he won’t live to see his 24th birthday”, he told The Dallas Morning News in February. It seems like it is no longer up to Manziel if he wants to play this year, but rather the decision of the NFL.
