Johnny Manziel thanks Browns and fans for opportunity, support
While the National Football League rumors point to a dead end for Johnny Manziel, other teams with quarterback needs appear to be moving on. He was supposed to provide new hope, a quarterback the team could finally build around.

Manziel voluntarily checked himself into a treatment center in January 2015 and spent more than two months in rehab. “I will always remember the support I received from the organization, my teammates and especially the fans”.
The quarterback managed just two wins in eight starts with the Browns as he averaged a measly 111.7 passing yards per game while throwing sevens picks and only seven touchdowns.
On Feb. 25, Dallas police referred their domestic violence case against him to a grand jury, which will exam evidence against Manziel. Some believe that the league has made it clear to teams that running back Ray Rice will never play again after his misconduct of two years ago.
The NFL is also investigating him.
That night, the young man nicknamed Johnny Football strutted on stage rubbing his fingers together, the “money” gesture he would later ditch after opponents taunted him with it.
With the troubles surrounding Manziel, he may have no options left in the NFL.

The Browns stood by Manziel. He was named the starter for the rest of the season on November 17, but was dropped to third string after a video surfaced of him partying during a bye week. Now, he will go down as one of the many draft-day blunders for the Browns since their return in 1999. The first hot spot could be Dallas at No. 4, but the Cowboys reportedly have no interest in Manziel.
