Joker Storylines We Need On The Big Screen
That’s really disappointing to hear, considering The Joker got 10 minutes of screen time at the very most in Suicide Squad.

Still, although Ostrander’s response was overwhelmingly positive, he did write that he had his own problems with the film. To put this in perspective, Batman v Superman made $256.5 million globally during it’s opening weekend.
Currently, David Ayer’s supervillain epic holds only a 26 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes (although that didn’t stop Suicide Squad from breaking box office records and opening to a whopping $135 million this weekend). That could forecast further sharp declines in coming weeks for the $175 million film, which also came with a massive marketing budget.
There are signs the hostile reviews are already hobbling Suicide Squad.
David Ayer’s multi-villain actioner launched to an impressive $65.1 million (£49 million) in the United States on Friday, and much like BvS, before dropping substantially – to the tune of 41% – on Saturday night. Apparently, a lot of fans were disappointed with the movie saying that it wasn’t exactly like how they thought it would be; especially with Jared Leto’s portrayal of the Joker.
Matt Damon’s fourth outing as the forgetful superspy continues in “Jason Bourne”, which brought in more than $22 million in its second week.
But it would seem audiences – particularly younger audiences – have ignored critic reviews and are even taking to the film. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

“Either for it to be released in China and just be a runaway success or to have audiences here in North America absolutely fall in love with the movie and come back to see it again and again”, he says. The film is set to debut in 57 overseas markets this weekend, so the total gross is likely to grow. According to The Wall Street Journal, there was quite a big dip in Saturday’s ticket sales.
