As noted by People, Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi’s kind words to one another indicate that the two musicians are on good terms despite rumors about a feud between them.
However, on Thursday they proved there’s still love between them in a warm Twitter exchange about each other’s music.
Sambora, meanwhile, is at work on an album with Orianthi, an Australian singer and guitarist, after the release of their 2013 single “Come Back As Me”. “Travel safe. Big love, man. Peace”.
While Bon Jovi didn’t exactly slam his ex-bandmate in the interview, he did point out Sambora’s lack of professionalism. “Look forward to hearing your record too.all the best, JBJ”, Bon Jovi tweeted. And that’s the truth of the matter.
Orianthi also offered Bon Jovi “congratulations on your new single” in the Twitter video, before Sambora said goodbye while making a peace sign.
Bon Jovi seemingly understood, as he continued on This Morning saying that “life goes on” and that it’s okay if Sambora decided he didn’t want to be in the band anymore. “You know, being in a rock band is not a life sentence. you have other things in your life that you care to do.You don’t have to do this for a living – you choose to do it for a living”.

As for the band, Bon Jovi’s 14th studio album This House Is Not For Sale is scheduled to be released on October 21, 2016. Sambora hasn’t ruled out a return to Bon Jovi.
