Jon Bon Jovi’s Surprise Wedding Performance

That’s what Jon Bon Jovi’s facial expressions all but screamed at a recent South Florida wedding, as the jazz band began “Livin’ On A Prayer” and Miami-based singer Lourdes Valentin beckoned for him to come on up. (Maybe he wasn’t thrilled that she kept changing the words to “take my hand and we’ll take it, I swear.”) So they sang the song together, and even though he hadn’t had the chance to warm up, Bon Jovi acquitted himself nicely.

A prayer was all that jazz singer Lourdes Valentin had that Bon Jovi would join in.

Speaking to the Associated Press afterwards, Valentin admitted that she knew that the rocker would be attending the reception and prepared a uniquely arranged version, and asked him to sing with her beforehand.

Now, for those who want to see more of Jon Bon Jovi, we are going to give you his upcoming performances. And then, in a surprise twist, the trumpet player belted the everloving shit out of the Sambora solo.

Bon Jovi, who are one of the biggest-selling rock acts of all time with 130 million worldwide sales, last released an album, Burning Bridges, in 2013.
