Jon Snow was upset over his return in Game of Thrones
Viewers of the show – which is famous for killing off the most popular characters in gory ways – saw Jon Snow die at the end of series five, only to have him brought back to life in the second episode of season six.

Before anything else, the first thing that Harington said about his career is focusing on the next two years of filming “Game of Thrones”.
“Maybe I shouldn’t say that”, he said. “I think it’s going to get very bleak before if there is a happy ending”, the Emmy-nominated actor told the Hollywood Reporter. Essentially, he knew he’d be coming back – but he wasn’t sure how the character would play out (as some theorized based on other characters from the books who were brought back to life, he could’ve had a villainous turn).
He added to The Wrap: “I felt a bit cocky this season”.
But before he could do anything, Harington had to spend weeks on set lying down naked on a table, playing a corpse. “So I couldn’t pre-plan anything, which was hard”, Harington said. Lena Headey also shares some insights about her character, Cersei, and what’s next for her and Jaime Lannister. The actor said: “When I got the script which actually said that he comes back as himself, as the Jon Snow that everyone knows”. We’ll be loading up Twitter with a casket of popcorn. A show that starts off by killing off a fan favorite lead character isn’t going to suddenly switch to lighthearted fairy tale arcs in Seasons 7 and 8.
Talking about Jon’s resurrection, Harrington revealed that he had been told by the showrunners that he would be coming back but it was not disclosed how. In the last season of Game of Thrones, Jon finally seemed to finish on top.
It’s nearly impossible to even begin with the theoretical foundation of thought that Game of Thrones is going to give any of its many characters a happy ending.
Kit Harington is channeling some serious hipster Harry Potter vibes!
The “Battle of the Bastards” was a lot of my season in one episode.

The co-creators of the show, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss recently slipped some tantalizing hints about what can be expected from season seven which is scheduled to be aired in the summer of 2017.
