Jon Snow will be in season 6 – but only as a corpse

HBO dropped the first full-length trailer for the upcoming sixth season of Game of Thrones and, not surprisingly, it’s the most-talked about topic on social media this morning.

Ever since the devastating season five finale of Game of Thrones, HBO has spent its time teasing fans about the fate of one Jon Snow.

And that’s enough to hint at the fallen Lord Commander’s possible resurrection. Jon Snow’s body was then seen wearing a full armor, waiting for an interment. We only see Snow’s lifeless body, at one point laying with a direwolf.at another point, with someone’s hands covering his eyes.

In another scene, Jorah Mormont and Daario Naharis ride out to the countryside outside of Meereen, discovering Daenerys Targaryen’s abandoned ring in the great grass sea.

There’s good news and bad news for Game of Thrones fans: Jon Snow will be returning, but only as a corpse. HBO produced fantasy adventure television series Game of Thrones is largely filmed in the province and according to recent audited figures from Northern Ireland Screen, the television drama has contributed an estimated £110m to the Northern Ireland economy.

“I think anyone who wants to know what happens in season six has to wait until it comes out”, Harington said during an appearance on a BBC morning show. The trailer ends as Davos draws Snow’s sword and whispers “I’ve never been much of a fighter, apologies for what you’re about to see ” . We’re also set to see the return of Bran Stark, with actor Isaac Hempstead Wright now looking a lot older after taking a season out, and get a brief glimpse of Tyrion.

Next, we see Jaime Lannister tell his sister and lover, Cersei, that they’re going to take back everything that’s been taken from them. However, they’ll be tuning in on April 24 to find out what the new season has in store for all their favorite characters, including Jon Snow.
