Jones will apologize if Brown misses Divisional Round
Steelers guard Ramon Foster confirmed Vontaze Burfict spit on guard David DeCastro during the game, but said Foster wasn’t the only Bengals player to commit the act.

On Monday, Foster claimed multiple Cincinnati Bengals players spit on Steelers players during the Steelers 18-16 victory over the Bengals on Saturday night.
During the Bengals’ wildcard playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, Burfict was penalized for lowered his shoulder and hitting defenseless receiver Antonio Brown in the head after an incompletion, which resulted in the suspension, according to the Associated Press.
“I will send out an apology”, Jones said.
The NFL fined Burfict for safety-related violations four times this season.
Burfict also was fined $50,000 for a cheap shot on Baltimore Ravens rookie tight end Maxx Williams in a Week 17 incident. On Dec. 18, the National Football League docked Burfict $69,454 for a controversial low hit on Ben Roethlisberger and two unnecessary roughness fines.
Head coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday morning that the expectation is that Roethlisberger will only work on Wednesday in preparations for the Steelers’ running game.
Jones also told Marshall that Vontaze Burfict’s hit on Brown, which sent the Steelers wideout into concussion protocol, was clean.
More punishments are expected from the game, which was marred by numerous altercations between players.
While players and coaches milled around on the field, Jones went after Pittsburgh assistant coach Joey Porter and drew another penalty.
While a guest on The Dan Patrick Show on Monday, Jones explained the fallout and his altercation with Porter and went on to claim Brown faked an injury after the hit by Burfict.
Coach Marvin Lewis will be back for a 14th season despite his 0-7 record in the playoffs, the most such losses to start a career.

The NFL decided his penalties over the course of a season merited the suspension, which can be appealed. He was unable to put any weight on his ankle as he was helped off the field and carted to the locker room.
