It’s only appropriate his final game in Boston was a great one. “No, no, son, you watch me and if I’m cheering, that’s when you can cheer too”. Routine rest isn’t a bad thing to try and keep Kobe fresh while giving the wing rotation different looks, and getting him a three-day break is a good opportunity to take advantage of after a road trip. “He’s put in 20 hard years and he’s given everything he’s got every single night”.
“We have given each other/All that we have”, the Lakers superstar wrote in the Players’ Tribune, shortly before divulging his plan to fade away before our very eyes in a season-long retirement tour. “I love our fans”.
