Jordan is up for another Creed movie

Jordan also spoke about working with Creed’s director, Ryan Coogler, once again as well.

Michael B. Jordan is excellent as Adonis Johnson, the result of an adulterous tryst by the late Apollo Creed (played in earlier pictures by Carl Weathers).

The film featuring Stallone’s seventh appearance as Rocky, now a trainer to up-and-coming fighter Adonis Creed (Jordan), had a solid holiday weekend that’s projected to hit about $40 million despite daunting competition. Are you interested in seeing more movies in the Rocky franchise?

The actor said in the interviews that with time, success and the right circumstances he believes it would be very exciting to come back to this story.

Nevertheless, I’d be remiss if I didn’t take my opportunity this weekend to say it to you myself: go see Creed.

How long can the “Rocky” series possibly endure? To get him to bring the character back, Coogler told Vulture it took “a lot of time” before he eventually he agreed.

Iconic role: Stallone’s original 1976 film Rocky won the Oscar for Best Picture and Best Director. The film was beat out only by juggernaut The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 and Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur. Despite landing in third, the movie has received dozens of good reviews and now has an 8.7 rating on IMDb and a 92 percent freshness score on Rotten Tomatoes. He gives it a 4 ½ out of 5 and says it’s one of the best films of year.

Ready to fight Creed star Michael B. Jordan has said he would be up for a sequel to the Rocky reboot which has been a surprise hit over the Thanksgiving long weekend
