Jordan Spieth is a fan of his new bobblehead
“I feel great. I feel rested now”. He has a task this week but he is the world number one and might again confirm the reason why.

“I grew up living half a mile from him, and he was my sports hero growing up in Dallas”. And I thought that was pretty awesome. But the wind forecast is mild, so I think we might see record scoring if that holds.
After completing a two-event stretch halfway around the world, Jordan Spieth is ready to return this week to life on the PGA Tour.
“Obviously, when it first happened after the PGA Championship it was impactful”, he admitted.
It also includes being able to share some special moments with family, like taking his dad Augusta National in December, which he said plays harder tee-to-green than in April.
The Patrick Peterson Foundation for Success was established in 2013 and Peterson says it has raised more than $250,000 that has helped more than 36,000 kids. It’s often a necessity this time of year given the limited sunlight. “He hits the ball as far as anybody I’ve ever golfed with”. He was close in Palm Springs as a rookie until he found a bunker off the tee with an iron and then the water, costing him a shot at the tournament.
Jordan Spieth seems to have figured it out. Two things: the trophy itself and the locker room.
“I’m still not over it if you can tell, ” he said with a smile.
“He (Alfonso) told me he was gonna make me do it”, McGirt quipped to The Robesonian.
At a really cool place, too.
He and hid dad had dinner at the club a couple of nights and enjoyed the display that recapped what happened in the 2015 Masters, which he found motivating for 2016.
“I believe it’s the best tournament in the world”. “Firm and fast is kind of unusual for this time of year for these golf courses, so it should be exciting”.
“When you get on these hot runs, you feel like this is the way the game of golf should be played… you need to make sure you make the most out of it”.
“That’s the greatest clutch shot chip”. There’s just more of an interest. It was when there was rough there. He is the 22-year-old who earned $22 million last year, including his bonus for winning the FedEx Cup.
“But that shot, I mean everyone in here knows about that shot”, he said.
World No. 1 Jordan Spieth plays for the first time on the PGA TOUR since his eight-stroke victory in the first event of the year at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. It was like, you know what, I want to go try and hit that shot right now. “I don’t really have to worry about that until the end of March or the beginning of April”.
The celebrities flock to this Pebble Beach for the Pro-Am portion of the event.

Jake Owen, however, is no average hacker. If you’re not yet a PGA Tour Live subscriber, this might not be the week to start that free 7-day trial they offer. And it certainly shouldn’t be a big deal that when recognized after sitting down, he didn’t scoff at being approached, but instead smiled and blurted, “Can you believe I haven’t been here before?”
