José Mourinho hails support of ‘amazing’ Chelsea fans
The former Arsenal skipper has witnessed a dramatic loss in form this year after he played an instrumental part in delivering Mourinho’s third title at Stamdford Bridge last year, but the Portuguese says he is not alone in underperforming this term.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa has apologised for the bib-throwing incident that called into question his relationship with Jose Mourinho, but says he avoided punishment because “the dressing room loves me”. La Liga is a great league.
“Now I know for sure that Chelsea fans don’t have memory problems, that is for sure”.
Club president Florentino Perez still rates Mourinho as the best coach in world football and Los Blancos need a new leader, with Rafael Benitez’ arrival in the summer contributing to uninspiring performances on the field.
Atletico Madrid have poured cold water over reports that they will try to lure Diego Costa back to the Vicente Calderon when the transfer window opens.
Diego Costa, who has failed to find the net on a consistent basis this campaign, was recently dropped following a bust up with the manager, which has since been cleared.
Costa has had a awful season so far, scoring 4 goals in all competitions and his tiffs with manager Jose Mourinho have been hogging the headlines. I think I did enough to deserve to be here.
He believes that is his legacy, following his hugely successful stint with Porto, which culminated in the 2004 Champions League win and a move to Chelsea. Mourinho added: “I think everybody wants to play us. Then comes another one (manager), then another one, then another one”.

However, Cerezo says his side will not be making any signings in January and has also rejected the possibility of re-signing Costa.
