Jose Aldo breaks silence after crushing Conor McGregor defeat

That’s because “Notorious” decided to make quick work of the Brazilian bomber, knocking him out in a mere 13 seconds last weekend (Sat., Dec. 12, 2015) in the pay-per-view (PPV) main event of UFC 194, which took place inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, to become the undisputed Featherweight champion. Jose Aldo would end up the odd man out, and it’s interesting to note that no one in the UFC is talking about an immediate rematch against Conor.

Before the fight, Aldo dominated the UFC featherweight division for seven years where he remained undefeated during that time.

“Nobody can take that left hand shot”, McGregor said of his punch.

Aldo wants a rematch and McGregor seems to have indirectly agreed via the Daily Mail to such, seeing that he was caught up at the moment.

Aldo (25-2) actually finished his punch and hit McGregor with a left, but the champ fell senseless to the ground and McGregor pounced, only to be pulled off in victory. Joe Riggs, the welterweight fighter popularly referred to as Diesel, may have bitten off more than he can chew. Aldo was previously the only champion the division had ever known.

Both were confident they would take the title, but ultimately it was McGregor who took the featherweight championship in the UFC 194 event.

If McGregor decides to do so, Edgar would most likely face the former featherweight champion, Jose Aldo. “That’s not happening. There’ll be a belt on one shoulder and a belt on the other shoulder”.

It should be taken into account, that fighters often come back quicker than their medical suspensions entail because injuries may not be as serious as initially suggested.

That honour didn’t satisfy McGregor, whose plans for world domination aren’t confined to one weight class or even one endeavour (“Hollywood is screaming for me”, he said).

Edgar said: “We have to wait to see what Conor does”.

McGregor stellar win made him the UFC’s biggest star especially after Ronda Rousey ended her remarkable reign as the UFC women’s bantamweight champion.
