Jose Aldo challenges Conor McGregor to fight at UFC 200
Conor previously stated, “My dream is to be world champion of the UFC, have more money than I know what to do with – and I will be… guarantee it”. Miesha Tate becomes the new bantamweight title holder, and is expected to fight Ronda Rousey in her first title defense, while McGregor is expected to drop back down to featherweight to defend his title against a handful of potential opponents.

Coming into the non-title fight, UFC featherweight champion McGregor (19-3 MMA, 7-1 UFC) was an odds-on favorite to win his welterweight debut against Diaz (19-10, 14-8), a late replacement for the injured Rafael Dos Anjos. Dos Anjos you are a p****,’ he said.
The dust has settled after Saturday’s gruelling fight that saw “The Notorious” Conor McGregor being beaten in the UFC after a 15 fight winning streak, and the Dubliner has responded to all his critics, fans and rivals in a defiant Facebook post.
The simmering Irishman, who lost for the first time in the UFC, delivered an explosive rant on the morning after the night before. I think Aldo has a fantastic set of skills, he was a great champion and I didn’t think that quite closed the chapter on that.
Other than a few choice words for Jose Aldo, Conor McGregor was remarkably restrained in the aftermath of his defeat by Nate Diaz.
“I knew I was the superior boxer and the superior martial artist”, Diaz told UFC’s official website.
However, it seems that another man also has McGregor’s attention.
This fight undoubtedly humbled the cocky fighter.
“Now, another man gets a victory over me, he celebrates it”, McGregor said during the UFC 196 post-fight press conference. “Nate has insane heart respect”.
That could take place at UFC 200 if he is cleared to compete this July. “He was efficient. I wasn’t efficient”.
Holm fought desperately to get out, but the veteran wrestler sunk in a choke that she didn’t let go until she was the champion.

This fight just goes to show, no matter how dominant you are in this sport, fighting outside your weight class is no simple task.
