Jose Aldo Wants Rematch With Conor McGregor Following UFC 194
“Frankie [Edgar] had a good win, that could be for the featherweight belt, maybe the Jose rematch or maybe the 155lb strap”.

Prior to the fight, there was a lot of hyperbole.
“If Rousey is granted an immediate rematch I would expect the same treatment for Aldo”, Jones wrote on Twitter.
After 10 years as the unbeaten pound for pound king of the UFC, Aldo took the defeat badly and was visibly upset.
The main event saw McGregor knock out Aldo in just 13 seconds to become the new undisputed featherweight champion, and the Irish fighter said he can draw even bigger crowds and make even more money in his future events.
“If Chad (Mendez) had had a full training camp, he would have killed him”.
As soon as the bell rang, Aldo and McGregor met in the middle of the cage.
“Going off the lowest figures in that equation, one million PPV buys with a $3 cut, McGregor would already be getting paid more than $230,000 per second”.

Understandably, Twitter users gave Riggs plenty of pointers on how to go about fulfilling his promise.
John Kavanagh told Ariel Helwani on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour that McGregor is considering fighting for the lightweight title in March or April and then defending the featherweight strap against Edgar at UFC 200 on July 9 in Las Vegas.
“It didn’t affect anything”, Aldo said. “I see him over reacting, over extending and then being KO’d unconscious”.
“It’s the biggest night of my career, the biggest night of the company’s career and the biggest night in the game”, McGregor said, having declared himself the biggest star in the UFC. “He deserves the chance to say this is who I want to fight next”.
“I don’t care what people don’t think”. “It’s a sport, we have to accept. Not only from wins you live your life”. That makes us stronger.

One thing is for sure I will be waiting eagerly for Aldo’s second encounter with McGregor, as a fan of the sport, both of these athletes and for the simple dream of one day sharing the cage with them.
