Jose Mourinho: ‘Adnan Januzaj still in my plans’
Manchester United’s winger Adnan Januzaj, 21, has been loaned to Sunderland for a season, the English Premier League football side has announced.

Januzaj’s signing follows hot on the heels of the Black Cats double swoop for Red Devils duo Donald Love and Paddy McNair and the Belgium global will be greeted with another familiar face at the Stadium of Light as he joins up with former United boss David Moyes. Mourinho suggested that if he hadn’t been interested in Januzaj’s future he would not “care where he goes” or “care which club, which manager” and instead, he would simply “send him to Borussia Dortmund where he didn’t play one match”.
However, it’s never that easy with Mourinho, who probably took Moyes glowing praise as a reason to hold onto Januzaj and only allow him a loan deal to Sunderland.
Mourinho, ahead of his Premier League debut with the Reds, against AFC Bournemouth on Sunday, insisted that he has carefully selected which club Januzaj has joined, unlike van Gaal.
“We can not be selfish”, Mourinho said.
Januzaj is “talented”, according to Mourinho.
“We have to think about the player”.
David Moyes has offered the player an olive branch by loaning him at Sunderland for the year but insists it is time for the Belgian to stop blaming others and help himself to develop as Moyes knows he can. “Hopefully, everything goes all right because we want him back”. We see him every week in this country, we can compare performances.

With the constant carousel of managers, young players can find it hard to remain in favor with the rotating personalities and that was the case with Januzaj, as Louis van Gaal wanted little to nothing to do with the youngster, sending him out on a futile loan to Borussia Dortmund that amounted to zilch.
