Jose Mourinho bristles at Pep Guardiola question in farcical press conference scenes
The global friendly between Manchester United and Manchester City, originally planned to kickoff in Beijing at 7:30 p.m. earlier this evening, was called off by event organizers due to severe weather conditions. It’s a problem for me if there are bad conditions for my players to train and bad conditions for my players to play.

Manchester’s City and United will not meet in a pre-season friendly in Beijing after torrential rain made the pitch unplayable.
The two were once colleagues at Barcelona but had a bitter falling out when Mourinho was manager of Real Madrid, with their personal enmity becoming the defining feature of el clasico between 2010 and 2012.
“We are polite guys”, a surprised Guardiola said when asked whether he would shake Mourinho’s hand on Monday.
“I saw the last game against Borussia Dortmund (when United lost 4-1) and that’s all (apart from) a little bit against Wigan”.
“Obviously I know you’re [the fans] all disappointed but as players we’re all very disappointed too because we’ve come out here to play in front of all the fans”, Shaw said.
“Of course I’ll shake his hand”.
Eager fans in China were disappointed after a Manchester derby scheduled to kick off on Monday, at the Bird’s Nest stadium in Beijing, was cancelled.
“But they had it with a smile on their faces which is good”.
Red Devil’s midfielder Michael Carrick believes all eyes will be on Manchester next season as United and neighbours City go head to head in one of the most eagerly anticipated Premier League campaigns in recent years.
“We want to play calm, play safe, go home and keep the preparation going next week”, said Mourinho at Beijing’s Olympic Sports Centre Stadium.
“He [Mourinho] wants to win, I want to win”, the Spaniard added.

Louis van Gaal left the club in May two years into his three-year contract with just one piece of silverware to show for his work and Mourinho was also handed a three-year deal when he arrived.
