Costa’s omission may well provide motivation for him to prove the coach wrong and he could get back to scoring ways as soon as this weekend at home to Bournemouth. There are no question marks for me.
And Mourinho thinks that he will be able to coax similar kinds of performances from Hazard, who he believes has a major role to play in Chelsea’s ambitions this season.
