Jose Mourinho embarrassed by Chelsea fan support

Jose Mourinho admits he got it wrong when he said Leicester were in a false position.

Victory over Porto and a place in the Champions League knockout stages has revitalised Mourinho’s belief in his squad, though, and he is certain Diego Costa and Eden Hazard will soon find the net as a matter of routine.

Their 1-0 home defeat to Bournemouth was their eighth loss of a miserable campaign and Mourinho was asked in his pre-match press-conference whether his players are afraid of playing at the Bridge.

“But we like to play at Stamford Bridge – the fans are being unbelievable”.

“When you are champions and winning matches, you wave, you share the emotion with the people. I know the distance between them and Man United, Man City, Arsenal is only a few points but they are the ones who deserve all the respect and compliments, it’s fantastic work”. Back in June, the club got a fair bit of stick for sacking fan-favourite Nigel Pearson and bringing in former Chelsea and Greece manager Ranieri.

“It’s incredible, but do you want to speak about how bad we are doing, or how well they are doing?”

Intense speculation over the Portuguese’s futures continues, but Cole – who won the Premier League twice under Mourinho – has confidence he can trigger a change in fortunes to such an extent that Chelsea could finish as champions again.

Mourinho also thinks it is possible that Leicester win the title. “I have to say, the last defeat was something that was far away from what I believed could happen”. It’s a good time to test our team at the moment. “If Leicester are where they are, it is because the manager and players are doing magnificently well”.

The Blues did win at the King Power stadium last season, thanks to a 3-1 scoreline courtesy of goals from John Terry, Ramires and Didier Drogba. “I completely trust him”. Also stating that “clean sheets are very important”, the popular manager tried to highlight the enormous concentration that the Midlanders will need in a “good test” against Jose Mourinho’s Blues.
