Tottenham Hotspur are planning a transfer deadline day raid of Manchester United for French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

The reported interest in Schneiderlin comes amid reports the club have changed their mind about pursuing a deal for Real Madrid midfielder Isco.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino worked with Schneiderlin during his time in charge of Southampton, and still holds an admiration of the Frenchman.
Tottenham have asked intermediaries to test the water with United but have so far had little encouragement.
Having suspected something was a little off, Sports Witness took it upon themselves to contact the French worldwide midfielder’s agent, Pascal Boisseau, directly to get the inside line on the tittle-tattle.
Paul Pogba’s arrival from Juventus has seen Schneiderlin fall down the pecking order with Maurouane Fellaini, Michael Carrick and Ander Herrera also preferred by Mourinho in the middle of the park.
The Daily Mail claim that Spurs have made an approach through intermediaries to see if United to would be open to letting the French global leave over the coming hours, either on loan or on a permanent basis.
Only last week, Mourinho told his players that he was happy with his squad and didn’t intend to move anybody on.
