Jose Mourinho takes swipe at ‘unethical’ Jurgen Klopp and Arsene Wenger

The France midfielder has been heavily linked with a world-record transfer to United, which sold him to Juventus for less than 1 million pounds in 2012, and the move is reported to be close.

But the Portuguese has again refused to discuss the possibility of the Frenchman joining his side.

Asked if he was confident it would be Pogba, Mourinho said: “I don’t like to speak about other clubs, or about players from other clubs”.

“Everything is important. Our pre-season was odd – good for some players but not enough for others”. All that matters is what happens in my house and not in my neighbours’ house.

Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has said he is going to fight for his place “every day” as he looks to impress new manager Jose Mourinho. It stays like this. The market closes on August 31 but my club are doing everything we can to finalise our business before August 14.

Whatever the validity of their claims, Pogba’s arrival at Old Trafford appears imminent and Mourinho is hopeful that his squad will be complete in time for United’s trip to Bournemouth a week on Sunday. The 23-year-old France worldwide has been strongly linked with a return to the Red Devils in recent months and Mourinho has admitted the club are close to signing a “very good midfielder”.

“We made decisions, decide to bring four players not 10, that are Manchester United level”.

“If you bring one player in for £100m and he gets injured, then it all goes through the chimney”, said the German. Now we have no chance to train against other teams, now we have Leicester before the Premier League and it is not a training session against another team – it is a game. I am happy with my squad.

Much to the surprise of everyone, it seems Manchester United really are about to sign that Paul Pogba bloke from Juventus.

Nani’s compatriot Mourinho is preparing for his first season in charge at United and the Valencia winger is intrigued to see how he will fare.

“My teams are very different to Mr. Van Gaal, ‘ and I want to make it clear that I’m not saying my teams are better or have better ideas, not at all. The others it is their problem”.

Mourinho also weighed in on the Bastian Schweinsteiger situation.
