In a statement that the Duggars have written on their official website, they revealed that they are checking the 27-year-old star into a long-term treatment center. Before adding: “For him will probably be an extended journey towards wholeness & recovery”. During this time we continue to look to God-He is our rock and comfort.
We make their shows about “family values” cash cows for the cable networks, whose only goal is to make more money than the past quarter, and then we ask these television stars to be flawless, or at least act like it.
Duggar’s first stint in rehab was back in 2002 when he was a teenager.
He copped to the embarrassing (but not illegal) facts in a remarkably brutal self-assessment on the family website last week, calling himself the “biggest hypocrite ever”.
In a pior statement that was released on the Duggar website, Josh said he had been living a secret life for “the last several years”. The pro-family Iowa organization is hosting the event in conjunction with national partners Family Research Council Action and Citizens United.
This is the latest scandal to hit the family after what has been a rough year for the Duggars.
After the training camp and confession, “Josh was a changed person”, his father said, noting that his son and the daughters who were involved had gotten counseling from “an accredited professional counselor”.
Keller said in one of his comments, , “I have told her I would pay for her to move out here w me and pay for her kidz”.
A source close to Danica told RadarOnline: “She claimed he reached out to her online”.
“His deceitful behavior harms his family, his friends, his former coworkers, and the cause he has publicly espoused”, Perkins said of Duggar. Today, his parents wrote that he is on a “long journey toward wholeness and recovery” but did not specify what kind of “treatment” he will be receiving.
