Josh Jackson selected by Green Bay Packers in NFL Draft

When the proceedings were over, general manager Brian Gutekunst’s first draft class was notable for how many bases it covered. Seattle is still without a second-round selection, but that too could change quickly. But two days later he announced he was entering the draft and would skip the TaxSlayer Bowl where Louisville played Mississippi State. Iowa has 32 selections since 2010 and 35 selections in the last 11 drafts!

“My sophomore year (at Warren Harding) in high school, he was a senior at Mentor, and we played his team in the first round of the playoffs”. Not all of the Packers’ rookies this season can make the roster, and so there’s nothing wrong with giving Vogel a little nudge in training camp.

Both were selected by teams with needs at their positions.

The Packers chose Missouri wide receiver J’Mon Moor in the fourth round.

“I’m so happy and it’s such a surreal feeling”, Jackson said of being drafted by a organization that will keep the Texas native in the Midwest. “I think any quarterback would prefer to throw to a bigger target”.

It will be interesting to see how he fits on the depth chart alongside Davante Adams, Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison.

Brown was drafted 207th overall – the 33rd pick in the sixth round – in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. The head coach called the competition in the secondary “vastly improved”.

Moore was asked about his habit to drop easy passes – NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock mentioned it during the draft broadcast – but Moore said he’s moved past those problems after working on his catching skills the last few months. “It’s something we pay close attention to, if you look at our history with the turnover ratio”.

“I just want to thank them so much for believing in me”.

After being selected, Jackson was asked about being taken by the Packers.
