“On my way to good health #TakingCareOfMyself #F***LymeDisease”, Lavigne captioned the photograph that showed 13 vials of her blood.

Lavigne also posted an image of herself smiling while sitting on her doctor’s examining table as she was about to undergo blood tests and a check-up. “We were all meant to fly”.

Speaking on Good Morning America a tearful Avril said it took months to get diagnosed: “They would pull up their computer and be like, “Chronic fatigue syndrome”.

After staying away from the spotlight for months, Lavigne resurfaced in April to reveal that she was battling the tick-borne illness.

After Avril Lavigne alerted fans that she wasn’t doing so well back in December, she’s been getting loads of support from her Black Stars.

Sadly, their union didn’t last, with Avril writing on September 2nd: ‘It is with heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today. We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for one another’.

The Canadian pop rock princess has slowed down from her music career past year when she was diagnosed with Lyme disease.

She added: “This journey continues…” This is my second shot at life.

“I literally became bedridden last October” she told ABC news this year.
