Journey, Doobie Brothers coming to Riverbend
Journey and the Doobie Brothers are coming to Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on August 9 for a tour the ’70s radio-rock stars are calling “San Francisco Fest 2016”.

Journey’s lineup includes Pineda, guitarist Neal Schon, keyboard player Jonathan Cain, bass player Ross Valory and drummer Steve Smith – who’s returning to the band after exiting in the 1990s. They go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 5, through the box office, online through www.ticketmaster.com, charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000, and all Ticketmaster outlets.
Special guest Dave Mason will join the line-up.
The news release described Journey as “one of the most popular rock bands of all time”, known for songs such as “Lovin, Touchin, Squeezin”, and “Don’t Stop Believin”. “We will see you All soon!!!!”
The Doobie Brothers are still led by singers/guitarists Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons.
