The Doobie Brothers have have sold more than 48 million albums and won four Grammy Awards in a four-decade career, according to the news release, with songs such as “Black Water” and “What A Fool Believes”.

Schon says, “I’m so looking forward to the very exciting 2016 we have planned, starting with my “Neal Vortex Schon” Japan tour in February and then our major summer tour with the Doobie Brothers and Dave Mason”. Smith was the drummer in the band during its key hit-making days, beginning with 1979’s “Evolution” album through 1983’s “Frontiers”.
