Behind each band of rain will come a cold front, and behind these fronts will come the return of cooler air. Rain and storms will linger into early Thursday. We’ll start Sunday in the upper 40s with highs only around 70°. Locally heavy rains fell across the area. An isolated severe storm will be possible. It will be well into the evening before they clear the eastern portions of the Miami Valley. Showers and t-storms will develop during the afternoon with about a 30-50% chance for rain.

Mild and wet this morning with temperatures in the 60s. High temperatures on Sunday will be held about 10 degrees below normal, only reaching the lower 60s at best. By Saturday, a high will continue to work in from the west as we will see a little more sunshine and warm up slightly. The upper 50s is where temperatures will stand tomorrow morning, climbing into the low 70s by the afternoon. Storms may be severe with a hail and wind threat and while a tornado can’t be completely ruled out the chances are extremely low. Winds will be out of the northwest on Friday around 10 miles per hour. Highs will be in the upper 50s north and the upper 60s south. Otherwise, Sunday will feature clouds with some sunny breaks.
