Janatha Garage was released on over 2000 screens across the globe including 1000 in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, around 550 screens in other parts of India and 400 screens in the global markets. At the end of 2nd week, movie collected the total amount of Rs. 11.61 crore in USA. The movie was released on over 2000 screens worldwide, that includes 1200 screens of Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, 480 screens of Kerala & Karnataka, 150 screens in rest of India, 200 screens of U.S. and 197 screens of other global markets.

The Telugu version “Inkokkadu” rights are grabbed by Abhishek Pictures and they are also happy with the decent response of the movie. All the fans and audience are very impressed from the story of the movie.
Under Koratala Siva’s direction, Janatha Garage has become the second fastest grosser after Baahubali in Tollywood to join the Rs 100 crore-club. The movie created a record in Telugu Industry with its opening collection. Jr NTR gave a superb performance.
With the collection of 0.7 crores on its second Monday, Janatha Garage now stands at the total share of 51.3 crores in AP and Telangana. It is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, and C. V. Mohan under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. The movie was released over 2,000 screens.

The total worldwide gross collection of the movie after 12 days is around 112.2 crores. Reportedly, Mohanlal who brilliantly played the role of Janatha Garage owner, Sathya, will be retained to portray the same in the Tamil remake.
