Judge criticized by Trump unseals documents in Trump University case
Now, Trump University is facing three lawsuits, including a lawsuit brought by the New York Attorney General and two class-action lawsuits brought by students in California who said they were swindled.

Trump University’s core customers are identified in the documents as male heads of households between 40 and 54 years old with annual household incomes of at least $90,000, a college education and a net worth of more than $200,000. It is our job to rekindle that motivation … to make them once again see the potential of achieving their dream, ‘ according to a ‘sales playbook’. The fact that the Judge is an Hispanic man is just another dog whistle Trump uses to incite his nasty nativist supporters.
Trump has been complaining of unfair treatment by the various courts, including one of the cases in California, where he hit back at San Diego federal judge Gonzalo Curiel, whose ruling last week allowed for the release of the trump university sales play books. “I just chose not to”. Because you know what?
We’re going to be hearing a lot more about Trump University in the coming days, especially after a judge whom Trump had bashed for being a “Mexican” recently ordered the release of several internal Trump U. documents that will be out by the end of the week. “A hater. He’s a hater”, Trump said. “Which is great. I think that’s fine”, Trump said in a speech in San Diego. Speaking at a rally in San Diego, Trump called Curiel “a hater of Donald Trump” who “happens to be, we believe, Mexican”. The materials urge them to aggressively get participants to buy more expensive programs.
Instead of a fast route to easy money, these Trump University students say they found generic seminars led by salesmen who pressured them to invest more cash in additional courses.
The playbook tells consultants to “stroke their ego” if they have good credit to encourage the sharing of financial information but the guide also says consultants shouldn’t go too far in stroking egos. That was followed by a racketeering lawsuit in 2013.
Curiel already has set a November 28 trial date.
Newly released documents offer a glimpse into the operations of Trump University, a one-time real estate school created by the presumptive GOP presidential nominee that’s now the target of multiple lawsuits.
The playbook documents spelled out precise requirements for payment and the presentations, including timing and seating.
According to the playbooks, “money is never a reason for not enrolling in Trump University; if they really believe in you and your product, they will find the money”.
Employees are told to avoid speaking with the news media. (The truth is a little more complicated.) Trump has also claimed in promotional videos that he hand-picked the instructors at Trump U.
A for-profit institution, Trump University initially sold virtual lectures and courses on entrepreneurship, real estate, and marketing on CD-ROM for $300 each.

The Trump University documents are embarrassing to Donald Trump. “Well, I’d probably appoint people that would look very seriously at her e-mail disaster, because it’s a criminal activity, and I would appoint people that would look very seriously at that to start off with”, Trump said in a phone interview with ABC News, referring to Hillary Clinton.
