Judge Rules Cosby’s Wife Must Testify In Civil Defamation Lawsuit Against Her
Camille Cosby, wife of alleged serial rapist Bill Cosby, is scheduled to testify Wednesday in a defamation case against her husband after a judge struck down her request to halt her impending deposition. The women, who have accused Cosby of sexually assaulting them between 1969 and 1992, said Cosby’s statements denying the accusations were false and defamatory. She is not a defendant in the lawsuit against Bill Cosby. While he’s already been accused of raping over 50 women, these charges-brought on by Andrea Constand-marked the first time the comedian has actually been arrested.

Cosby, who exemplified the model family man in his long-running hit television series “The Cosby Show”, was charged with aggravated indecent assault, which carries a maximum penalty of five to 10 years in prison.
Meanwhile, Bill refused to talk to a New York Post reporter, but claimed he was doing very well. According to court documents, Camille Cosby’s lawyers sought to quash the order to testify at the deposition, citing Massachusetts’ marital disqualification law, “or in the alternative, a protective order limiting its scope”.
In their suit, the women said Bill Cosby portrayed them as liars after they went public with their allegations.
However, a new report claims Camille is finally fed up with Bill’s actions and how the alleged sexual assaults conducted by Bill have humiliated Camille, and fans wonder if Camille will finally divorce Bill.
The 78-year-old comedian turned himself in to police and was arraigned in a Montgomery County courthouse before being released on Dollars 1 million bail.
On Thursday, Cosby simply tweeted, “Friends and fans, Thank You”.

But Twitter users responded with a welter of abuse, labelling him a “monster” and accusing him of “horrendous crimes against women”. Acting both as a wife and Cosby’s business manager, she directed her husband’s high-powered attorneys to “get back out in front of this”.
