The boyfriend of Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, has been found responsible for her death by a U.S. judge.

Gordon repeatedly failed to meet court deadlines in the civil case, Fulton County Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedford said in his order. The judge confirmed on Friday that Gordon’s consecutive no-shows in court means that anything alleged by Brown’s estate is admitted through omission.
“I am pleased with the outcome of today’s court proceedings”, Brown said. Today’s judgment tells me it was Nick Gordon. “Now I need to process all the emotions I have and lean on God to get me and my family through this”.
A jury trial will take place to decide how much he must pay in damages.
The saga isn’t completely over, but, on Friday, another piece of the sad story of Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, fell into place.
Page Pate, an Atlanta criminal defence lawyer not involved in the case, told Associated Press: “There’s been no finding of liability, no finding that he killed her or had any involvement in the killing”.
She was subsequently placed in a medically-induced coma and spent nearly six months fighting for her life. Nick Gordon has been accused of a long list of crimes against his 22-year-old girlfriend. The only thing left to prove is the value of her life. While it won’t bring their relative back, it is a relief that the court agrees with them about who is responsible for her death. “Generally speaking, it tends to be the other way around: a criminal conviction is used in a civil case”. “We want to legally establish [Gordon] was responsible for [the] injuries that preceded [Brown’s] death and we’ve done that today”.

Her death mirrors that of her mother, Whitney Houston, who was found dead and submerged in a bathtub after consuming drugs in 2012.
