Judge won’t dismiss woman’s molestation suit against Cosby
NEW YORK (AP) – Paul Thomas Anderson premiered his first documentary, “Junun”, on Thursday at the New York Film Festival, unveiling a sonically rich portrait of Indian musicians recording an album with Radiohead’s Johnny Greenwood.

Previously, the comedian’s attorney Martin Singer had called Huth’s allegations false and “defamatory”. Twenty-seven women agreed. Snow said she interviewed four other women involved anonymously in a 2005 case against Cosby, and two of them subsequently said they would join the other women on camera.
Whether actor-comedian Bill Cosby will be tried on charges that he sexually assaulted a woman in the Playboy Mansion in 2008 is up to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Instead, the court ordered that the suit continue, and Cosby has been ordered to give a deposition on Friday in regard to the allegations made against him by sexual assault plaintiff Judy Huth.
A judge on Wednesday refused to throw out a lawsuit filed by a woman who accuses Bill Cosby of molesting her when she was 15, saying the comedian can still receive a fair trial despite procedural errors. Chloe Goins, a 25-year-old model, claims that Cosby spiked her drink during a party and that she woke up naked in a bed to find him licking her toes and masturbating. “I want to say that I think our client is very, very courageous and it’s very, very challenging on anyone who files such a lawsuit, but, I believe that she is prepared for this battle, and she is a mom and she has our support, and we know she has the prayers of many, many people around the nation who she has never met”.
Goins’ lawsuit does not specify a date when the incident occurred, but states it is being filed under a provision that allows victims of underage sexual abuse to sue for several years after they turn 18. Three of his accusers are filing the case against Cosby for defamation in Springfield, Massachusetts.
But Judge Karlan ruled on Wednesday that the deposition would be sealed for at least 60 days and set another hearing in the case for December 22.
Attorneys for Cosby have argued that Allred is using the case for public attention. More than 40 women have come forward with sexual assault claims dating back to the mid-1960s showing that Cosby has a “habit, pattern, practice and/or modus operandi of drugging and sexually assaulting women without their consent”, according to the lawsuit.

The comedian is facing allegations of decades-old sexual abuse from 50-plus women who have gone public, although numerous claims can not be pursued in criminal court due to the statute of limitations, which has long expired.
