Juergen Klopp wants to inject passion into Liverpool
“I was never a guy for an easy way”, Klopp told LFCTV, via BBC. It’s a special club, I had two very special clubs with Mainz and Borussia Dortmund and this role is the ideal next step for me. “I’m the normal one”.

He will replace Brendan Rodgers, who was sacked earlier in the week after failing to win a single trophy in his first three and a half years in charge as manager.
The 46-year-old has been on sabbatical since leaving Borussia Dortmund in May following a seven year stint at the club but Klopp said four months rest was enough and he jumped at the chance to return to football once Liverpool came calling.
“It’s cool that you’re looking for that, but it’s not my part to think about that”.
The 48-year-old, speaking at his maiden press conference at Anfield, also stressed the club’s history should not weight heavy on them as they begin a new chapter.
But if it is confidence he needs to find the consistency he wants, then I suspect Klopp will be flawless for Coutinho and bring the best out of him week in, week out. I believe in the potential of this team.
Wenger sympathises with Rodgers given that he went so close to winning the Premier League in May 2014, and called for a sense of perspective.
“It’s been insane here”, he said.
“It’s not important. We did in Dortmund what we had to do to improve the players, to work with them”. It’s important what people think when you leave. Please give us time.
He will try to return Liverpool to the Champions League as well as leading the club back to domestic success. “I’m a normal manager and I want to work with the players on the pitch”, he said.
“My teams must play at full throttle and take it to the limit every time”.
“Liverpool has extraordinary supporters and Anfield is a world-renowned home, with an incredible atmosphere”. I have to work all day with these guys.
Ferguson was also asked on Liverpool’s transfer committee, with said structure coming in for intense criticism under Klopp’s predecessor Brendan Rodgers.
Kenny Dalglish has advised Liverpool supporters to “fasten their seat belts” for life under new Reds boss Jurgen Klopp. “I’m the normal one, if you like”. If the people are not interested in football we can put a few sticks in the park and play football.
