Julia Louis-Dreyfus Delivers Heartbreaking Emmys Speech

Tonight, she thanked Mandel “for letting me trick him into running the show”.

This past season of Veep was Julia’s best yet.

“Please give transgender talent a chance. Thank you”, said Louis-Dreyfus. In addition to Vance and Brown, Regina King (ABC’s “American Crime Story”), Aziz Ansari (Netflix’s “Master of None”) and the Comedy Central sketch series “Key & Peele” won trophies.

For the second year in a row, Emmy voters made the right choice. It was the show’s third win overall.
