The leak was publically damaging to the DNC, with committee chair Debbie Wasserman Shultz, CEO Amy Dacey, CFO Brad Marshall and Communications Director Luis Miranda all forced to step down from their positions following the many revelations from the emails. He is suggesting that Seth Rich was the person who leaked the DNC’s emails and voice mails.

Julian Assange is set to be quizzed by Swedish police over sexual assault allegations four years after entering the Ecuadorean embassy under political asylum.
Assange recently appeared on the Dutch television program Nieuwsuur, admitting that “Wikileaks never sits on material”.
Ecuador’s decision to continue to grant asylum to Assange has sparked friction with not just Sweden and the US, but also the U.K. But on Wednesday Ecuador’s Foreign Ministry was unequivocal in reaffirming the country’s support for both the United Nations ruling and the whistleblower’s continued asylym.
Last week, the family of Rich held a press conference, asking the public for help. “We wouldn’t be willing to say a conclusion yet, but we are concerned about it”, Assange said. “This should not be taken to imply that Seth Rich was a source to WikiLeaks or to imply that his murder is connected to our publications”. That’s why they come to us, so we can protect their anonymity. “It’s quite something to suggest a murder”.

When Assange was asked directly if Rich was one of his sources, the Wikieaks founder dodged the question. “I think it is a concerning situation”. There’s not a conclusion yet.

In February, a United Nations panel determined that Assange was being arbitrarily detained in the Ecuadorean embassy and should go free – a conclusion dismissed by Sweden and the U.K., as we reported at the time. “More importantly, a variety of our sources are concerned when that kind of thing happens”.
