Junior dos Santos-Alistair Overeem bout added to UFC Fight Night card
A heated heavyweight clash between Junior Dos Santos and Alistair Overeem has been announced as the co-main event for UFC Fight Night in Orlando.

The two heavyweight sluggers have been scheduled to meet in the Octagon twice before.
Overeem relentlessly called out the Brazilian slugger, whom, it’s worth noting, will train for this pivotal fight at American Top Team (ATT). Still, “The Reem” has lost three of his seven total UFC bouts by knockout, and he should face one of the most powerful KO artists he’s ever met in “Cigano”. Dos Santos would go on to defend the belt against Frank Mir.
The former heavyweight champ hasn’t fought yet in 2015.
On Tuesday, the UFC announced that heavyweights Junior dos Santos and Alistair Overeem will also be fighting on the card. Topping the card is a UFC lightweight championship bout between newly crowned champion Rafael dos Anjos and three-time World Extreme Cagefighting title challenger Donald Cerrone. This will mark the final event of the UFC’s 2015 calendar.
Nate Diaz finally has another fight booked and it’ll come against Michael Johnson at UFC On FOX 17 on December 19th.

Johnson (16-9), the runner-up on season 12 of TUF, most recently saw his four fight wins streak snapped in the form a controversial split decision loss to Beneil Dariush earlier this month at UFC Fight Night 74. Their bout is a rematch of their fight in 2013, where dos Anjos won a unanimous decision over Cerrone.
