Junior Galette’s Civil Lawsuit Case Dismissed: Latest Details and Comments
“Now, Junior can focus on football and put this… behind him”, Galette’s lawyer, Ralph Whalen, said in a statement.

I hate these kinds of stories surrounding our team, and we should all note that regardless of the outcome of this one civil matter, Galette certainly needs to back up the strong sense of remorse he conveyed to McLovin’, as well as the strong desire he has to restore his name.
Galette had filed a motion seeking to dismiss the case, arguing the lawsuit was not detailed enough to permit him to mount a meaningful defense.
Per Triplett’s report, the woman who was “alleging three years of sexual, physical and mental abuse” in her civil suit against Galette failed to further pursue the case.
The woman’s attorney stepped down from the case in March because she was “uncooperative and inaccessible”, the Times-Picayune reported. The previous undrafted free agent was launched lower than one yr after signing a four-year, $41.5 million contract extension. “The civil suit came only after we flatly rejected her ex-lawyer’s shakedown to pay her $2 million in exchange for their not filing this baseless suit”.
Separately, on Thursday, Galette pleaded not guilty to charges that he was driving with an expired license and no brake tag on his vehicle when he was pulled over by Causeway Police near the Huey P. Long Bridge on July 7.
Galette led the Saints with 22 sacks over the previous two seasons.
While these charges were dismissed, you can’t dismiss the video of Galette hitting a woman with a belt on a Miami beach.
Galette was supposed to meet with NFL officials at the end of June.

The Redskins signed Galette to a one-year, minimum-salary contract after he was launched by the Saints, expressing confidence in his regret and his want to benefit from a second probability.
