Jurgen Klopp admits: ‘I’ve said too much s*** in the past’

Jürgen Klopp is starting to build a few momentum at Liverpool after a third successive victory – and the club’s first away from home in Europe for almost three years.

Klopp even addressed the issue at a press conference earlier on Wednesday ahead of his club’s Europa League clash with Rubin Kazan on Thursday.

“We made it 1-0 but then lost a little bit of rhythm and opened the door a little bit for Rubin Kazan”. It’s OK. The lads fought for their lives and that was great to see.

Liverpool are second in Europa League Group B after drawing all three of their opening matches.

Selection has been more consistent in all competitions by Klopp but he insists he does not have a first-choice XI in mind.

He explained that “everybody’s doing well in training” and described that they are “delighted as a group to be doing well now” and are hoping to “just keep winning games and make it a repetition”. “They are all nice guys with big skills with big passion – all that we need and now we can work together”.

Klopp revealed afterwards that playmaker Phlippe Coutinho was rested because he has a slight hamstring strain, but should be fine for the visit of Crystal Palace on Sunday.

“It’s not always the biggest advantage to play 11 v 10”, Klopp added.

Following the game we took to Twitter to see how Can’s performance went down with Liverpool fans.

“I don’t know, we have to work to create a new kind of music but we are in a good way”, Klopp continued, after reducing the media to howls of laughter.

“Brendan had the final say on all the players we signed”, Ayre spoke at the Web Summit in Dublin.

However, the ex-Hoffenheim will be looking to pick up where he left off against Chelsea, playing as a false nine as Liverpool flooded the midfield and broke from deep.

Rubin attempted to get back into the game in the closing stages but they never really looked like breaking down Liverpool. Four weeks. I don’t know.
